I would sleep with you any time
I have been married for 45 years, sad to say most of that has been sexless, I loved her and the kids and held on.. waiting.. waiting hoping for things to get better...They didn't, I have had a couple of affairs, just to convince myself that there's nothing wrong with me (well proven). Sorry but the real answer is NO.. get out while you can before it's too late, it is for me.

Yes...but it isn't easy and it takes time...but if you value most of what you have then it's worth the effort I reckon.
My partner has a very low (almost non-existent) sex drive...I am the complete opposite...so we evolved into a firm, close friendship that suits us both. We have an "open" relationship and it allows me my freedoms to pursue my "needs".(it's no secret that I'm here for instance...and she knows of my kinky dominant passions)
We haven't had sexual intimacy in years but it hasn't altered how I feel about my partner...we just love being together as two close friends. It works for us.
If it didn't then we would have parted long ago I'm sure.

If you can have a open relationship (having your cake and eating it) then maybe. Personally I would say if you are never getting any you will never feel close. I ended up dwelling on this and that it ate at me until I went into depression. Got to the point I'd break down at work. It isn't natural its torture. I would say if i could do 5 mins work to mske you happy i would. Go and use your hand i was told. Sick of it I went to see hookers loads of hookers. Thats a bad move as its the emotional closeness that i wanted. Get the fuck out honestly life's too short and nothing will make a man feel wanted loved and confident like a good sex life. Living with a sexless woman who you find desirable is like parading food past a starving man, you are better off alone.

I agree with most here. I'm in a relationship where sex is very rare. At first it was great but not the kinkiest ever. Fairly standard stuff. I've tried all sorts to encourage more fun and experimentation to no avail. In every other way relationship great so I'm not in a rush to call it a day just bcos the sex is limited....what do you reckon??

I'm in relationship where it's there whenever I want it(thank god) but been in a relationship that was great except the sex was almost non existent, We tried and tried but in the end we just didn't get on the same sex level and ended it. I'd want it all the time and him maybe twice a week. Try and talk things through, DO NOT end it over sex though, remember why u r together and take time xxxx good luck xxx

Happy,high and horny!

It can work. I've been with my husband 15 years. (The longest relationship before that was 3 months !)... However my desires are way off from his.. so we compromise and I master bate furiously whilst he's at work!!

RE: can a relationship work with different sex drives..advice please.

I've been in two marriages. The first was full of sexual adventures and and real desire to explore boundaries, but we didn't really understand each other outside sex. In the second, we have sex about once a year or so.

My sex drive is very high, my wife's, not. So I've discovered other outlets. I perform on cam (exhibitionist - free!). I've started to talk to people here, share photos, fantasies, ideas. I love the new things I'm doing - I don't feel it's a replacement, it's just a new way. She's not stupid. She knows I need, and enjoy this. But we don't let it impact.

I'll take this marriage over the first every time. Simple fact is that my wife makes me laugh, understands me, and is the best friend I've ever had. Sure, it's frustrating that I still want her more than anyone else. It makes me sad. Sure, it's not what I thought I'd be saying when I was younger. Sure, there are times when I fantasise about the things I did with my first wife. But I want a life partner - and I'll take the rough with the smooth. We work it out.

She can still turn me on with a glance. But you know what? I like that.

I'm in the process of finding the answer. My husband's sex drive has decreased considerably over the past 2/3 years, while mine seems to have increased. It's tricky, especially as I love sex. I masturbate much more than I used to, but as we know, it's not the same. I've recently noticed guys noticing me which has created lots of soul searching and self analysis. I'd never thought about being intimate with anyone else before, but I do now.

I am sorry to hear that. Have you talked to him about this? Would he allow you to sleep with other men? Communication is important maybe he will allow you to sleep with other men?

If your needs are not being fulfilled you must love him but he must also understand you have needs to.

I am sure you will have plenty off men to sleep with you.

If you want to discuss this further feel free to private message me if you wish.

At this stage, I don't think he'd be happy knowing I was meeting other men.
