I think we are all in agreement with you there, it will be a shame but right now the choice appears to be new site from scratch or no site.

I think it's fair to say replicating exactly what is here will take a lot of work, probably longer than we have got. But I think we shoukd get the basic forum, membership and PM system up and running and then add functionality.

Looking at the old posts you can see it took a good year to get all the features we enjoy in place

Worth the effort and new stuff will be interesting even if it is a repeat of last threads.

Definitely worth the effort. A good opportunity to shake the forum topics a bit

This will be an opportunity to review the rules, anyone have any thoughts on them?

I'm happy to help if needs be. It would be really sad if the site went down and nothing replaced it.

It might be wise to have a thread for each section of the site so we can discuss everything separately

The rules are probably mostly OK. I'm sure we can all go through them with a fine comb but they serve us well at the moment so I doubt there will be major changes
