Itching for the highlights to finish to post about this

If you don't try it how do you know you don't like it?

RE: The UKSF F1 Club

Yet another Mercedes 1-2, a domination that doesn't quite reflect the reality. But once again Ferrari sacrificed Leclerc in a vain attempt to hold the Mercedes up and in so doing lost the points for an easy 4th place instead of 5th. It doesn't look very clever

Im also wondering what Ricciardo had against Kvyat. Having failed to take him out on the track he clumsily reverses into him

But well done to the McLarens. And the field is closer together. There could be some surprises at tracks like Monaco

Well done Bottas, he drove a brilliant race and kept his cool at the very end, when
Hamilton was looming large in his mirrors.

And I'm so glad Mercedes are not resorting to team tactics, Ferrari are trying to do it
and cocking up big time !

It's a noticeable difference. Mercedes are refusing to give team orders and it means their drivers aren't compromised. Ferrari are focused only on getting Vettel as high up the positions as possible and it's not only costing them points its potentially preventing some good racing

I think it's worse than that Diamond. Ferrari seem to be intent on making sure that Vettel is ahead of Leclerc at whatever the cost. Leclerc was in the lead in one race, destined to win but suddenly a lap or two from the end, he lost power. There was never an explanation for this. In another race he was told to let Vettel pass him. This race they kept him out with shot tyres until Vettel managed to pass him.

It's about time Ferrari realised they have a gem in Leclerc and let him do HIS job.

The loss of power was traced to a short in the ECU. They changed the unit on all Ferrari engines as a precaution after Govanazzi suffered an identical failure

But they should let them race

Totally agree Maurice, I rate Leclerc highly as well.
If Ferrari gave him freedom to race I think we have the possibility of a classic F1 season this year !

He'd almost certainly be in the hunt with more points than Vettel. And ferrari would have more points too

But ferrari have frequently allowed their strategy to be focused purely on one driver so it shouldn't really come as a surprise

To be honest. I am a bit disappointed in the season so far. When it first started we all thought we might have a really good championship battle and that Ferarri might actually push Mercedes. And now we are here 4 races in and Mercedes have finished 1-2 in all of them.

Ferrari really are the kings of cocking things up aren't they?

If Ferrari can get their act together I think we still have the makings of a good championship
battle. But they had better get a move on sorting themselves out before Mercedes move too
far in front points wise !
