The forgotten Christmas Decoration

This morning all our decorations have been returned to our loft ready for next year.

Yet there's always the one that escapes. We have a tradition that it will stay until advent next. Last year it was a stick on snowflake on the window pane. This year we haven't found any yet but there's is bound to be something.

Anyone else do something similar?

Please read my BIO.

I'd feel sorry for the decoration that won't be in the left with its friends for the next year

If you don't try it how do you know you don't like it?

RE: The forgotten Christmas Decoration

Today is the day that our decorations return to their storage space in the bedroom, and
our home returns to some sort of normality. But you can always guarantee that somewhere
there will be a bauble or trinket hiding away ( usually dislodged by a clumsy cat!) We always
wrap it carefully and re-unite with it's friends ready for next year's festivities.

But I can also guarantee my wife and I will disagree today while storing the trimmings away.
Every year in the post Xmas sales Mrs Yuri stocks up on cards, paper, etc ready for next year,
and inevitably ends up buying some tree decorations as well. Now I'm a bit of an old fashioned
sentimental traditionalist ( a dinosaur I hear you lot exclaim !) and I really don't want to replace
my existing baubles as I've grown quite attached to them. For instance our glass Xmas tree fairy
was given to us by a German Aunt over 40 years ago.

It irks my wife somewhat, but I usually manage to persuade her to let me wrap up my old fragile
balls and store them away til next Christmas !

RE: The forgotten Christmas Decoration

I've just had a sexy thought !

Aiming this question primarily at Voshigirl as she is the author of this excellent post, but
can I ask are any of our UKSF friends out there naughty enough to have sexy Christmas
decorations on their tree ??

Found these pics of a few naughty baubles that might look good hanging from the branches
of an adults only tree !
What do you think ?

RE: The forgotten Christmas Decoration

Well Yurigagarin Rex. I would but we also have too many visitors that might ask difficult questions. I like Mr & Mrs Santa.

I too have next year wrapping paper, napkins and crackers.

RE: The forgotten Christmas Decoration

I so do we but only as left overs from this year lol

In fact we had some nice Christmas tablecloths too that we put somewhere safe before Christmas and naturally only found when putting all the decorations away this week
