Rust

Anyone knowledgeable about metals.

Our dishwasher has reached its end. It's pumping out rusty water all over our pots and pans. If that's not bad enough out cutlery seems to have caught the rusty disease.

Any body know why, cause I didn't it possible, and perhaps more importantly what can I do to save my knives and forks?

Please read my BIO.

I have used white vinegar to clean knives.  I don't know if it works on forks though.  But it is harmless to the stomach. Put your knives in and leave them for a while and they will come out fairly clean

Thanks Mike, I'll buy some and give it a go. It's not that the cutlery is valuable, cept to me.
