erection problems

There was an item on BBC radio 2, Jeremy Vine show today, concerning erectile dysfunction in young men. Apparently there has been a substantial increase in the amount of young males seeking medical advice for the problem. It was claimed on the show, that much of the problem is being caused by internet pornography. From what I could gather, it seems that boys are now growing up bombarded by internet pornography, which means that real life sex partners cannot live up to their expectations, which in turn is effecting their erections, which then leads to insecurity about their performance, which again effects the erection.
I was wondering what you all think about the subject. I personally think that porn works for me, rather than hinders my performance with Mrs CC. However the "experts" have deemed this to be fact, so obviously it must be true, hey ?
Seriously though, I would be interested in your opinion on the subject.

I don't buy that one. You can't prove that's true so it's pure theory

I've seen a lot of pornography growing up. It hasn't had any impact on getting an erection. As Mrs D will tell you. Quite the reverse in fact

If you don't try it how do you know you don't like it?

RE: erection problems

I aggree  with diamond, I have watched and "read" a load of porn growing up and apart from knowing what a woman looked like naked and the basic ideas on oral sex, I would say it had no adverse affect on me at all, it's later in life I find we (my oh and me) use porn to spicy up our sessions than it really affected me as a young guy I was just happy to get laid, now I want some funny and frisky kinky times with my oh.

I do wonder if this has less to do with porn and more to do with young people being more seditary and consuming alcohol at younger ages affecting Thier erections

RE: erection problems

I honestly don't know why it would be such a major factor. I agree that lack of exercise, substance abuse, and poor diet, are more likely to be the causes. I am sure though, that millions of pounds worth of tax payers money will be pumped into quango's, too "prove" that porn is the cause, and then further censor the internet.

I agree there CC, Or they will come to the conclusion that they are unsure about it and clamp down on the "evil porn" industry just to be safe and ensure the virility of us British citizens.

Yes another example of our puritanical Victorian society with its 'sex is dirty and shameful' hang ups

I agree the most likely factors are going to be diet and lifestyle, both known to cause a range of health issues

If you don't try it how do you know you don't like it?

When you think about it given the amount of kids Queen Victoria had she can't have thought sex that dirty or shameful?

RE: erection problems

As individuals the Victorian were very much into anything naughty. But as a society that sort of thing happened behind closed doors and was never mentioned in polite company

We've carried that forward but also tried to impose it behind closed doors

If you don't try it how do you know you don't like it?

RE: erection problems

It kind of grew with the notion of the stiff upper lip and the idea of the proper British behaviour.

RE: erection problems

Mind you Queen Vic didn't understand how two women could possibly enjoy sex with each other so clearly wasn't that knowledgeable
