Strange lights in the shy

A good few years ago when holidaying in West Wales we saw a very bright light hovering in the sky over the sea. It wasn't until it moved to the South very quickly did we realise that what we were looking at was very odd.

Anyone else see things they can't easily explain?

Not as such. That's interesting though. Were there any other witnesses?

Yes, my wife for one, but there were others on the caravan park that saw it. We were sitting outside drinking wine it was not fully dark at about 10:30pm it was other people's comments that drew our notice.

I'm fascinated by ufo stories, even though rationally I can dismiss them. There were lots of sightings like that in Wales, there was a suspicion of secret aircraft tests.

But if that was the case we'd know about it by now

It wasn't an aeroplane as I am sure 20 years ago they could not hover for at least 3 minutes then travel to near the horizon in about 5 seconds. That's what made it truly odd. We all thought it was a star at first.

PS i.don't believe in aliens visiting us, although I can accept life on other planets.

I once met a man who claimed to work for British Rail, but I never saw any evidence of it.
