Towns and Villages

Some time ago a friend and I here played a word game taking turns to come up with the names of "plausible" fictional towns and villages, in the UK with a slightly naughty edge. It was buried in another thread, and there was only the two of us actively posting. So I thought we could revive it now there
are more of us here.

Bumblebee Bottom, Leicestershire

I drink in a pub called The Crumplehorn Inn.
Always elicits a tiny wince as I enter.

RE: Towns and Villages

I know this is an old thread, but thought it might be worth resurrecting.

When I lived in Dorset, long time ago, I often enjoyed a trip to Shaggs  and Scratchy Bottom.

The Asda in Warrington town centre is in the Cockhedge Shopping Centre

If you don't try it how do you know you don't like it?

RE: Towns and Villages

Believe it or not good people, I live not too far from the rather unfortunately named 'Slag Lane'.
Now it could be a reference to the mining industry of that area once upon a time but I know a couple of ladies who live there.
I've therefore drawn my own conclusions.
