I'm currently trying one of those now, I just hope it's all worth it in the end!

Well done with the weight loss. Let's hope your work situation improves too

If you don't try it how do you know you don't like it?

Totally agree with Berkscountryboy!
After retiring just over a year ago, I must confess I seem to have lost my sense of purpose, and gone into a sort of relax mode. So I too feel it's time to kick out old ways and move on with my life.
Resolving to make my wife fancy me again, so I'm losing weight and getting more motivated with home and garden, and generally being more of a help than a hindrance!
Joining the UKSF has been a big thing for me also. Made loads of friends, chatted about lots of
things, it's not just sex on here folks, its also about friendship, help and good chatting with
lovely people !

I had to make life changing decisions , this last 6 years myself , only recently have I been able to walk again after 6 years of paraplegia, floored me, but I had to keep working and being self employed, I had to think out of the box to survive, so yes it is possible even at 56 to plot a new course in life .
